Steven Keppler
Steven Keppler is an experienced commercial and civil litigator focused on protecting his clients’ rights to ensure the best possible outcome for those he represents. With over seventeen years’ experience, Mr. Keppler aptly manages the intensity of litigation matters and helps his clients navigate through the process from inception through settlement or trial. Mr. Keppler’s practice primarily involved the representation of individuals and businesses relating to contractual disputes, regulatory compliance, business torts, and loss mitigation. Whether in litigation, arbitration, or mediation, Steven relies on a thorough understanding of the law and passionate advocacy for his clients’ interests to creatively protect and promote the best results for the client. Mr. Keppler has appeared before courts and arbitration across the county and also appeared before the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, and counseled clients in numerous jurisdictions both home and abroad.
Mr. Keppler has also engaged in effective appellate advocacy, before both the New Jersey Appellate Division and Supreme Court, as well as the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
In addition to his advocacy in the courts, Mr. Keppler counsels businesses and individuals on risk mitigation, contract negotiations, and general business matters.
Mr. Keppler is licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey and the United States District Court of New Jersey, as well as nationwide before the Social Security Administration. Mr. Keppler has appeared pro hac vice before state and federal courts in Florida, Texas, Minnesota, Mississippi, and Rhode Island and has contributed articles to various publications as well as co-authoring a soon-to-be-published chapter for American Bar Association relating to illegal financial performance representations during the disclosure process by franchisors.
Mr. Keppler received his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University.
