Gina A. Makoujy concentrates her practice in construction and commercial law.

She represents public and private project owners, prime contractors, specialty trade contractors, and design professionals in all aspects and phases of construction and commercial law and litigation. She counsels clients at pre-construction and construction phases on a wide range of topics including contract evaluation and negotiation; risk management; disputes and claims including payment issues, delay, impacts, acceleration, design errors and omissions, liens, bonding and surety issues, scope and quality of work, and termination. She also focuses on contract drafting related to all aspects of construction.

Her practice includes formation and organization of businesses; commercial lease transactions and landlord-tenant disputes; non-compete agreements; licensing agreements.

She has given seminars on topics including: Contracts, Dispute Resolution and Claims Management; Legal Issues for Design Professionals; and Ethical and Legal Considerations for Architects and Engineers.
